IN REGARDS TO PICKING THE ISLAND WITH YOU, WE HAVE A COUPLE OF AGREEMENTS THAT WE NEED TO BE TO BE SIGNED TO FINALIZE THE ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT AND WARRANTIES BEING A PUBLIC HEARING IN EARLY 2021 AND THEN AFTER THE PUBLIC HEARING WE REVISE ALTERNATE AND WE ULTIMATELY END UP WITH A FEDERAL HIGHWAYS DECISION AND AN ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT THAT WOULD BE A FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT.

AND THEN THIS IS A SLIDE THAT SHOWS THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS FOR FOUR HIGHWAYS AND IT SHOWS THAT WE'RE RIGHT NOW WE'RE ANALYZING ALTERNATIVES AND IN THE MIDDLE OF ANALYZING ALTERNATIVES IN A PUBLIC HEARING. TWO THINGS I WANT TO BRING YOUR ATTENTION TO IS THE NEXT STEPS AFTER THE PUBLIC HEARING. THE FIRST ONE IS REFINING THE ALTERNATIVES BASED ON PUBLIC CONCERN AND TO MINIMIZE IMPACTS THE BASE OUT OF THE PUBLIC COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC HEARING WALTERS CAN BE REFINED AND THEN CAPTURED IN THE THE FINALIZED ENVIRONMENTAL DOCUMENT. THEN THE NEXT ONE TO HIGHLIGHT IS THE FINALIZED METHOD. SO THAT IS COMMUNITY MITIGATION AND ALSO TO MINIMIZE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS WE HAVE TO MITIGATE THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS AS WELL TO ALL SPEAK ON BOTH THOSE TOPICS LATER IN THE PRESENTATION. SO EACH OF THOSE WERE EVALUATED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND THEN FROM THAT WE HAD THE VALUATION CRITERIA THAT SHOWN BELOW WHICH WAS THE PURPOSE OF NEED THE WETLANDS PROTECTED LANDS RIGHT AWAY IMPACTS AND CONSISTENCY WITH THE PINGING OUR WILDLIFE REFUGE AND FINALLY NEIGHBORHOOD IMPACTS.

AND FROM BASED ON THAT CRITERIA WE MOVE FORWARD TO SAY WITH SIX REASONABLE ALTERNATIVES AT THE PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING AND BASED ON PUBLIC FEEDBACK AS WELL AS COORDINATION THE FISH WILDLIFE SERVICE THREE ALTERNATIVES WERE ADDED. THOSE WERE FOR A FIVE AND SIX DAY. AND I'LL SHOW THAT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THOSE OVER

AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE DELINEATED WETLANDS IT RANGES FROM 18 ACRES TO APPROXIMATELY THIRTY ONE ACRES OF IMPACTS. THE RIGHT AWAY IS SOMEWHERE BETWEEN TWENTY SEVEN TWENTY SEVEN ACRES AND SEVENTY TWO ACRES OF RIGHT AWAY IMPACTS DEPENDING ON WHERE IT'S LOCATED
