AND SO, UM, AS IT TURNS OUT, DOT COULDN'T GET IT DONE, COULDN'T HAD PROBLEMS GETTING IT DONE. AND THEY BASICALLY SAID, OKAY, WE'LL FUND THE PROJECT. AND SO WE GOT OUR $200,000 BACK THAT WE HAD CONTRIBUTED TO THE PROJECT, AND IT COSTS THEM MORE THAN 500,000 TO COMPLETE THE WORK. I SEE. HEADS SHAKING. BUT THAT'S, THAT'S THE FACT. THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED. SO THE PROJECT HAS BEEN DONE. I I THINK ALL OF THAT'S PROBABLY LOST, UH, UNLESS YOU'RE KIND OF A NEPA, UH, GEEK , UH, UH, AND ACTUALLY LOOKED AT SOME OF THAT STUFF. I DON'T THINK ANYBODY UNDERSTANDS THAT HONESTLY. UH, BUT IT, BUT THERE'S NOT GOING TO BE THE TRADITIONAL, UH, CONSIDERATION GIVEN THROUGH AN EA OR AN EIS, UH, THAT WOULD NORMALLY BE TAKE PLACE. SO PREVIOUSLY, GOING BACK TO THE NINETIES, UM, THERE WAS A LOT OF ROADS THAT WERE TAKEN INTO THE COUNTY SYSTEM THAT WERE IN SUBDIVISIONS OR NEIGHBORHOODS JUST BECAUSE OF THAT, YOU KNOW, PROCESS OF JUST DEEDING A ROAD OVER. UM, BECAUSE OF THAT WAS HAPPENING, THAT'S WHEN POLICY STATEMENT 15 AND 17 WERE CREATED THAT OUTLINES THE PROCESS TO BRING ROADS IN. AND THAT TAKES A PETITION OF THE HOA OR OF A MAJORITY OF THE RESIDENTS ON OF THAT ROAD. AND THEN IT HAS TO BE BROUGHT TO, UM, COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL WITH A ESTIMATE FROM STAFF OF WHAT THE MAINTENANCE COSTS WOULD BE, UM, FOR THOSE ROADS.
