JACOBY OH JACOBY SORRY. HELLO. HOW NIKKI JACOBY MY HUSBAND COULDN'T BE HERE TODAY BUT WE ARE FIVE YEAR PLUS RESIDENTS OF MAULES CREEK.

WE USED TO LIVE BACK ON THE RIVER. WE BOUGHT THIS LOT THE INTENTION TO BUILD OUR FAMILY HOME. MY PREVIOUS HOME WAS ON THE RIVER AND 30 FOOT SETBACK. THE SURVEY I RECEIVED IN PURCHASING THIS LOT SHOWED A 30 FOOT SETBACK. IT WAS SIGNED BY THE OCR IN PERSON.

I DIDN'T THINK TWICE ABOUT IT. IT HAS A VERY UNUSUAL SHAPE. IT'S A TRAP.

IT'S LIKE A TRAPEZOID. OKAY. AND THEN YOU HAVE THIS LONG DRIVEWAY EASEMENT THAT COMES INTO YOU THAT'S PART OF THE TOTAL SQUARE FOOTAGE OF THE LOT WHICH OBVIOUSLY IS NOT IN THE BUILDING SETBACK. WE ARE BUILDERS.

WE HAVE HUNDREDS OF PLANS AT OUR DISPOSAL THAT WE'VE BUILT BEFORE.

I COULD NOT FIND A HOME THREE BEDROOM WITH A BONUS ROOM FOR A FAMILY THAT WOULD FIT ON THIS.

SO I CUSTOM DESIGNED THIS THIS TWO ARCHITECTS AND IT WAS EXTREMELY CHALLENGING WE GOT THIS TO WORK AND IF YOU LOOK AT IT THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE A HOME FIT EVEN WITH A 30 FOOT SETBACK IS TO FACE YOUR NEIGHBOR LEFT SIDE. SO THIS IS THE STREET DOWN HERE. THIS IS YOUR NEIGHBOR THE OF OUR HOUSE IS LOOKING INTO THEIR LEFT ELEVATION AS IS OKAY YOU CAN'T STRAIGHTEN IT UP BECAUSE OF THE SHAPE AND THEN ONCE YOU TAKE THAT BACK TO 50 FEET THEN IT'S REALLY IMPOSSIBLE WITHOUT BUILDING A HOME WHERE THE GARAGE IS UNDERNEATH THE HOUSE. WELL HERE LIES THE PROBLEM.

MAULES CREEK WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO PUT THAT TYPE OF OF HOME IN THIS SECTION OF THE COMMUNITY I HAVE MAULES CREEK FULL APPROVAL OF FIRST PLANS THAT I SUBMITTED WITH THE LITTLE ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT FOR MY AGING PARENTS WHO ARE GOING TO BE LIVING WITH ME.

I TOOK THAT OFF TRYING TO MAKE IT WORK WITH THE 50 AND I BOUGHT THE POOL BACK ALSO SO THE POOL IS NOW WITHIN THE 50 AND THERE IS ONLY JUST THESE TWO TINY LITTLE CORNERS OVER THE 50 AND MY PREVIOUS LETTER AFTER THE RIVER BUFFER WAIVER MEETING SAID STAFF INFORMED THE APPLICANT THAT RIVER BUFFER WAIVER WOULD BE GRANTED FOR THE RESIDENTS AND REQUESTED THAT THE POOL BE REMOVED FOR THE RESIDENTS ITSELF WAS APPROVED. I PULLED THE POOL BACK NOW IT'S NOT EVEN IN THERE AND. I'M STILL GETTING TOLD THIS DOESN'T WORK SO NOW I HAVE A LOT THAT'S DEEMED BUILDABLE MAYBE NOT BY STANDARDS BUT MY COMMUNITY I CAN'T BUILD A HOUSE A DRIVE UNDER I CAN'T DO IT AND EVEN DOESN'T FIT MY FAMILY'S NEEDS.

SO IT'S LIKE I SPEND ALL THIS MONEY TO CONSTRUCT A FAMILY HOME WHERE MY KIDS ARE GOING TO HAVE TO SHARE A ROOM NOW, YOU KNOW? SO I'M JUST REALLY A LOSS.

IT'S NOT A BIG HOUSE IT'S 3100 AND CHANGE IT'S NOT LIKE I'M TRYING TO PUT SOMETHING CRAZY ON THIS LOT BUT IT'S 5000 UNDER ROOF. YES IT HAS A PORCH ACROSS THE BACK. IT SURE DOES. HOWEVER, THE SQUARE FOOTAGE IS THAT YOU'RE TRYING TO MAKE ME TO OR FROM MY NEIGHBOR TO THE LEFT SO WAS BUILT FOR YEARS BEFORE I WAS EVEN ALLOWED. OKAY SO PEOPLE AREN'T BUILDING LIKE THAT REALLY ANYMORE.

PEOPLE USE MORE OUTDOOR THEY REALLY DO AND. I DON'T WANT TO GO VERTICAL.

I CAN'T GO VERTICAL BECAUSE OF MY PARENTS AND THE COMMUNITY I WOULDN'T HAVE A GARAGE IT SEEMS LIKE THAT YOU COULD PULL THE GARAGE FORWARD IF YOU FLIP THE POWDER ROOM IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM AND ENTER STRAIGHT THE LAUNDRY ROOM YOU COULD PROBABLY PULL THAT OFF THE AND THAT WOULD GET A LOT OF THAT I GUESS IT'S A SCREEN PORCH OUT OF THE SETBACK IT'S A CORNER OF A

BATHROOM AND A CORNER OF THE PORCH THESE ARE SAND SET. SO IT'S PERVIOUS WATERS RUNNING RIGHT THROUGH THIS. THE ONLY THING IMPERVIOUS ARE THESE TWO TINY LITTLE CORNERS.

THE COUNTY SO I WOULD JUST LIKE TO STATE FOR THE RECORD THAT SINCE THE RE SUBMITTAL YESTERDAY FROM MR. WE WERE LETTING THEM KNOW THAT WHAT THAT WAS STATING WAS THE HOUSE CANNOT EXCEED THE AVERAGE HOUSE.
