IT TURNED INTO A BLACK MALE SITUATION, UM, WHERE HE WAS TOLD THAT THE PERSON HAD ACCESSED ALL OF HIS SOCIAL MEDIA AND ALL OF HIS CONTACTS.

SO HE WAS THREATENING TO SEND OUT THE PHOTOS THAT HE RECEIVED FROM GAVIN SIMULTANEOUSLY OVER, I GUESS, I'M NOT SURE THE TIMEFRAME, BUT IT WAS PRETTY QUICKLY.

UM, HE SENT HIM $25 THAT SENT THE PERSON HE WAS COMMUNICATING WITH, BEGGING FOR HIM TO NOT RELEASE THE PICTURES.

UM, AND BECAUSE HE FELT HE HAD NO OTHER CHOICE, HE TOOK HIS OWN LIFE, UM, THAT, THAT IS CALLED SEXTORTION, WHICH IS PART OF GAVIN'S LAW.

HIS FATHER MOVED INTO HIS POSITION AS, UM, AS A, AS A HOUSE REPRESENTATIVE, BROUGHT THE BILL TO THE FLOOR.

SO HE DIED IN 2 20 22.

AND THE LAW H IT'S H 3 5 83, WAS PASSED IN AUGUST OF 2023.
