SO IT'S NO LONGER, UH, YOU KNOW, THE SITUATION WHERE A GROUP CALLS AND THEN YOU TRY TO PUT A, AN ITINERARY TOGETHER FOR THEM.
SHE'S GOT THE NORMAL FOLKS WHO WE CALL AND SAY, HEY, CAN YOU BRING YOUR AIRCRAFT HERE, FOR EXAMPLE, THAT THE SHERIFF'S HELICOPTER IS ALWAYS THERE.
CIVIL AIR PATROL IS ALWAYS THERE.
AND THEN IF WE GET LUCKY, WE'LL HAVE SOMEBODY UP FROM HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD WITH A, A MEDICAL, UM, HELICOPTER OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
SO SHE'S GOT THIS NICE AND PROGRAM.
THE, THE STUDENTS TYPICALLY GET A CHANCE TO HAVE A GOOD BRIEF BY THE, THE ARF CREW, GET A CHANCE TO SEE HOW THE TRUCKS WORK.
MAYBE A FEW OF THEM GET A RIDE IN THE TRUCK AND THEY ALSO GET A TOUR OF THE, UH, THE TOWER.
SO SHE'S DONE A REAL GOOD JOB OF PUTTING THAT TOGETHER.
AND WE'VE HAD A LOT OF STUDENTS COME THROUGH AND, UM, WHO KNOWS WHERE THAT LEADS.
IT MAY JUST PLANT THE SEED FOR SOMEONE TO, YOU KNOW, GET INTO AVIATION IN, IN WHATEVER ROLE THEY, THEY CHOOSE.
THERE'S SO MANY DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF AVIATION, SO HOPEFULLY WE'RE INSPIRING SOME OF THESE YOUNG FOLKS TO, TO GET SERIOUS ABOUT IT AND, AND, UH, YOU KNOW, PURSUE A GREAT CAREER.
SO, HATS OFF TO THE WHOLE CREW.
OUR ARF TEAM IS ALWAYS WIDE OPEN FOR THIS TOO, SO WE APPRECIATE THAT.

SO WHEN PHASE TWO OF THE BUILDING HAPPENS, WHICH IS RENOVATION, EXPANSION OF THE EXISTING TERMINAL BUILDING, THAT CANOPY WILL ACTUALLY BE REMOVED BECAUSE THAT'LL BE, WE'RE PART OF THE BUILDING IS.
BUT FOR THE NEXT, UH, COUPLE OF YEARS, HOPEFULLY NOT TOO LONG, THAT'LL BE THE CANOPY OUT, OUT FRONT OF THE, THE BUILDING.
IT GOES RIGHT OUT TO THE, THE FRONT SIDEWALK.
SO THERE, THERE IS, UH, A NICE COVERED WALKWAY FOR FOLKS.

SO IT'S POTENTIALLY OUT THERE IN WRITING.
BUT TO MS. TURNER'S POINT, THERE'S A LOT OF UNCERTAINTY WITH WHAT'S WHAT MAY OR MAY NOT HAPPEN WITH THE FAA.
SO IN DISCRETIONARY MONEY WILL BE THE, THE, THE POT THAT HAS THE MOST UNCERTAINTY TIED TO IT.

AND SO FAR THIS YEAR, WE'RE STARTING OFF WITH UNDER 3000 FOR THE FIRST TWO MONTHS WHEN IT'S RUN WELL ABOVE THAT THE LAST COUPLE YEARS.
SO IT'S BASICALLY A QUESTION BASED ON THE COMMENT, DO WE AS A GROUP AND AS AN AIRPORT WANT OUR AIRPORT TO GROW OVER TIME OR NOT? BECAUSE COMPARED TO THE REST OF THE COUNTRY RIGHT NOW, IT'S PRETTY CLEAR THAT HILTON HEAD IS HAVING FEWER PLANES LAND HERE OVER THE LAST FIVE YEARS.

AND THE AIRLINES BRING IN AROUND 120 TO 125,000 PEOPLE A YEAR.
AND SO DOES GA BUT THOSE NUMBERS ARE GOING DOWN.
