[I. CALL TO ORDER] [00:00:09] UNTIL AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE MEETING THURSDAY, JUNE 1ST. SO 2023 THE MEETING CALLED WILL CALL PLEASE. ALL RIGHT CHAIRMAN, FRED HAMILTON, COUNCILMAN DAN WOOD, YOU'RE THE LAW WAS POLITE WHEN CHAMBERS MAYOR JAMES MCGILL FAIR AND GRAY STAPLES HERE LOOKING DISRUPTION OF THE TODAY'S AGENDA CAN THEY GET A [III. ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA] MOTION TO STOP THE MOVEMENT OF A TABLE FOR THIS FROM APRIL TO APRIL 13 THERE'S ALSO NEED [IV. ADOPTION OF MINUTES] TO BE APPROVED GOING TO A MOTION MOVE I CAN EITHER FAVOR OR OPPOSE I HAPPEN TO HAVE ALL [VI.1. FY23 Neighborhood Assistance Program Budget Update] IN THE BUSINESS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD PROGRAM UPDATE OF THE VICTORIAN ALL RIGHT SO WELCOME WELCOME INTO JUNE MISSED YOU GUYS MONTH BUT WELCOME BACK AS WE MOVE INTO NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM BUDGET AS YOU ALL KNOW OR MAYBE NOT KNOW THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON IS FISCAL YEAR IN ON THIS ENDS THIS MONTH SO WE ARE WRAPPING UP OUR YEARLY SPENDING AND IN OUR MEMO AS IT STATES AS OF MAY 25TH A TOTAL OF 45 HOMES HAVE BEEN SERVICED FOR HOME REPAIRS AND THAT'S FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BECAUSE WE'RE NOT PICKING UP ANYTHING THIS MONTH. SO WE HAVE DONE 45 HOMES WITH A NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM FOR THIS FISCAL YEAR 2023 AND THAT IS REROOFING WET AND DAMAGED FLOOR REPAIRS SEPTIC PUMP OUTS IN PRIVATE ROAD REPAIR TOTALING $306,420.25. SO CAN WE DO A ROUND OF APPLAUSE IN OUR ELABORATE ON THAT ONCE WE GET TO OUR ACTUAL GRAB SHEET THE REMAINING BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR IS 3005 7975 EACH REPAIR OR EXCUSE ME EIGHT REPAIR SERVICE IS OUTLINED IN THE BUDGET THAT IS ATTACHED YOU WILL SEE THAT THE HOME REPAIR LINE HAS EXCEEDED THE INITIAL BUDGET FOR THE HOME REPAIR SERVICE BUT. IT HAS NOT EXCEEDED THE OVERALL NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE BUDGET TO DATE 13 APPLICATIONS HAVE BEEN APPROVED BY LOWCOUNTRY COUNCIL GOVERNMENT'S OTHER 13 APPLICATIONS. FIVE WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR HOME FOR MYSELF AND BUILDING SAFETY TO LOOK AT THEIR REQUEST AT WORK. I STATED THE 2023 FISCAL YEAR ENDS ON MONDAY JUNE AND FISCAL YEAR 2024 WILL BEGIN ON JULY FIFTH. NO REPAIR SERVICE WILL START UNTIL JULY FIFTH SO THOSE 13 HOMES WILL THEN ROLL OVER TO OUR FISCAL YEAR 2024. ANY QUESTION TO THAT THAT MEMO ? ALL RIGHT, NO HANDS UP. LET'S GO TO OUR MICS AND THIS IS JUST OUR REGULAR BUDGET SHEET THAT I KIND OF YOU GUYS AS I STATED THE HOME REPAIR LINE STARTED 150. WE HAD A COUPLE OF BUDGET TRANSFERS I THINK WE DID TWO DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR INVOICES PAID 28 $285,323. WE WENT OVER BY 20,000 BUT LIKE I SAID IT DOES NOT MESS UP OUR TOTAL AS A WHOLE SO THAT'S WHAT WE HAVE THAT LESS THAN 4000 STILL LINGERING ANY QUESTIONS ON THAT SHEET? ALL RIGHT. AND I DID SOMETHING FOR US TO KIND OF SEE OUR UPS AND DOWNS. I SPOKE WITH COUNCILMAN. HE HAD A FAMILY THAT NEEDED SOME ASSISTANCE AND I SAID, WELL, THE MONEY THAT YOU GUYS JUST GAVE ME IT'S GONE. AND I HEARD IT IN HIS VOICE HOW SO? SO WHEN YOU GUYS DID A BUDGET TRANSFER IN MARCH WE HAD ABOUT 12 HOMES WAITING FOR THOSE FUNDS. SO WITH THAT YOU CAN SEE IN APRIL WE SHOT BACK UP SO THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT. SO I JUST KIND OF BROKE IT DOWN FOR SO YOU CAN SEE WHERE EVERYTHING WENT DURING THE FISCAL YEAR AND WE DID GREAT. I MEAN WE HIT 45 HOMES AND I THINK THIS PROGRAM IS WORKING. IT'S GETTING OUT BEEN OUT BUT IT'S MORE OF AN OPEN DOOR POLICY NOW SO WE'RE TOUCHING A LOT MORE FACES THAT DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT. I THINK ONE REASON WHY WE DID SPEND A LOT WE HAD SEPTIC SEPTIC ISSUES SO THAT WAS $100 OFF THE TOP SO WITH THE NEW CONTRACT THAT TOWN COUNCIL IS WORKING ON WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DISH OUT THAT 400 COMING UP IN THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR SO THOSE FUNDS CAN TOWARDS SOMETHING ELSE. DO WE HAVE AN IDEA OF HOW MANY HOMES ARE POTENTIAL CANDIDATES FOR THIS IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS ? THE QUESTIONS I DON'T QUESTION BUT YEAH OUR PROGRAM ALLOW THIS [00:05:02] EVEN THOSE WHO WERE PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS TO COME BACK IN IN THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR. OKAY THAT'S GOOD SO WE CAN EACH CALENDAR YEAR THEY JUST HAVE TO REAPPLY. OKAY. OKAY. SO YEAH IT'S A IT'S BEEN A WONDERFUL THING IF NO QUESTIONS ON THAT I'M GOING TO SHOOT TO SOMETHING ELSE SO. WE DO GET A LOT OF CALLS FOR HOME REPAIRS THAT'S NOT IN OUR SERVICE AREA OR THINGS THAT WE DO NOT DO FOR THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON SUCH AS WE SEE CERTAIN ELECTRICAL ISSUES WE DO NOT DO. SO I DON'T JUST TELL A RESIDENT NO. I TRY TO FIND BACKING. SO I'VE MET WITH DEEP WELLS. I MET WITH LOWCOUNTRY COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENT I'VE MET WITH BEFORE EOC AS WELL AS BLUFFTON SELF-HELP AND THESE GROUPS THEY DO HOME REPAIRS AS WELL IF THEY DON'T DO HOME REPAIRS HOMEOWNER CAN GO OUT, GET AN ESTIMATE, THEY CAN APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE THESE DIFFERENT AGENCIES SO FOR US AND WE DON'T KNOW OR CAN'T TOUCH IT I LET THE RESIDENT KNOW I'LL HELP YOU SEND YOU A DIFFERENT SO WE'VE BEEN GETTING A LOT OF CALLS WE HAD A CALL FROM BEACHWOOD I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW BEACHWOOD WAS IN THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON SO I COULDN'T TOUCH IT BUT I DID SEND THEM TO SOMEONE ELSE AND PAY WHAT IS RIGHT OFF WITH THEM AS WELL. SO IT'S DIFFERENT CALLS THAT COME IN LIKE THAT. WE GET CALLS FROM JASPER COUNTY, WE GET CALLS IN HARTSVILLE THE PRITCHARD AREA BUT THAT'S NOT US. SO JUST SO THEY WON'T SAY, YOU KNOW, DROP THE BALL, WE CAN'T HELP YOU, YOU KNOW DO SOME RESEARCH, SEND THEM SOMEPLACE ELSE. SO THESE AGENCIES HAVE BEEN A BIG HELP FOR TO GET WORK DONE FOR THOSE AND PUT THE FIRE DEPARTMENT THERE BECAUSE I'VE MET WITH TONY SHERIFF AND TONY HERE TONY PERRY SHERIFF AND STEVEN COMBS AND I AM GOING TO START WORKING WITH THEM FOR SMOKE DETECTORS WHEN RICHARD AND MYSELF GO OUT RICHARD IS ONE OF THE BUILDING INSPECTORS WHEN WE GO OUT HIS FIRST THING IS TO SEE IF THE HOME HAS A WORKING SMOKE DETECTOR. HE HEARS WHERE THE PEOPLE SEE IF IT'S AN OUT OF DATE SMOKE DETECTOR. SO THE TOWN BLUFFTON WORK WITH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT BEFORE WITH RED CROSS WHICH IS ABOUT TEN YEARS AGO AND DID A SMOKE DETECTOR BLITZ SO WE'RE WORKING TO DO THAT AGAIN BECAUSE THAT'LL KEEP US FROM PAYING CONTRACTORS TO DO SMOKE AND THAT'LL SAVE US SOME FUNDS. SO THE BLUFFTON FIRE DEPARTMENT AND, THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON IS WORKING ON WORKING WITH THE RED CROSS TO DO KIND OF A WALK THROUGH KNOCK ON DOORS. LET US SEE IF YOU NEED A DETECTOR NOW BEFORE WE GET THAT GOING ON WHEN RED CROSS HASN'T REACHED BACK OUT TO US. BUT BEFORE WE GET THAT GOING WHEN I DO DO A HOME VISIT I SEND A NAME AND ADDRESS TO THE BLUFFTON FIRE DEPARTMENT SO THEY CAN REACH OUT AND SAY HEY, I GOT YOUR NAME FOR TOWN OF BLUFFTON. CAN WE COME IN AND MAKE SURE YOUR SMOKE DETECTOR IS UP TO DATE. SO WE'RE JUST TRYING TO I'M JUST TRYING TO THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX OTHER WAYS TO HELP FAMILIES AND KEEP THEM SAFE AND GET THINGS DONE FOR THEM SO SO ON THAT BEING SMOKE DETECTORS PRIMARILY COME OUT I BELIEVE THIS IS CORRECT BECAUSE I PUT SOME IN MY HOUSE A OR TWO AGO WITH LITHIUM BATTERIES THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD FOR ABOUT TEN YEARS. SO I WOULD SAY IF WE'RE GOING TO GO TO THE EFFORT TO GET THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO COME OUT TO SMOKE DETECTORS THAT THEY'D BE CHANGED OUT WHERE THE PEOPLE ARE ANNUALLY HAVING TO PUT IN A REGULAR BATTERY TO LIKE A LITHIUM BATTERY. RIGHT. AND PUT IN YOUR PACKET. I SPOKE WITH HEATHER AND THERE IS SOME A FEW FLIERS THAT THE BLUFFTON FIRE DEPARTMENT HAS GIVEN ME. SO WHEN I PASS OUT OUR APPLICATION I'M NOT ATTACHED TO OUR APPLICATION. I AM GIVING THEM SOME FLIERS ON SMOKE DETECTORS AS WELL. SO THERE WAS ONE WITH LITHIUM BATTERIES. IT WAS A TWO PAGE SO I DIDN'T INCLUDE IT IN THERE BUT. THERE IS SOME PRECAUTIONS ABOUT LITHIUM BATTERIES AND THINGS LIKE THAT SO WE JUST TRYING TO LIKE YOU SAID, KEEP THEM SAFE AND CHANGE OUT FROM OLD SCHOOL TO SCHOOL SO THEY DON'T HAVE TO SWITCH OUT SO OFTEN. SO I'LL BE GIVING THE RESIDENTS INFORMATION ABOUT SMOKE DETECTORS AND FIRE PLANS AND JUST SURE THEY HAVE AN IDEA, YOU KNOW, GOD FORBID IF SOMETHING DOES HAPPEN THIS IS WHAT WE NEED TO DO. SO WHEN YOU WORK WITH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON IT WAS YOU KNOW, I KNOW IT AS A PROGRAM BUT THEIR PROGRAMS THAT THEY CAN OFFER IF THEY DON'T HAVE A SMOKE DETECTOR OR ONLY IF THEY HAVE THE REPLACES THEY CAN IF IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WILL IT IF IT NEEDS TO BE CHANGED OUT, YOU KNOW THEY'LL DO ALL THAT. SO THERE'S A FORM FROM RED CROSS WHEN THE RED CROSS COMES OUT THERE'S A CERTAIN STATISTIC RED CROSS HAS TO KEEP WARM UP SO THEY WILL FILL THAT OUT. THE HOMEOWNER WILL FILL OUT FIRE DEPARTMENT WILL TO GIVE THEM A NEW ONE TABLE THE OLD MOBILE HOME FIRE DEPARTMENT CAN'T DO IT RIGHT ON SPOT BUT THEY'LL ORDER WHAT THEY NEED AND GO BACK AND REPLACE IT FOR THEM FOR THAT ANSWER YES. OKAY SO YES WE'RE NOT JUST GOING IN AND TAKE THIS DOWN BECAUSE IT LOOKS OLD BUT THEY'RE JUST GOING TO MAKE SURE THAT THE WIRING AND EVERYTHING IS GOOD BEFORE THEY JUST PUT SOMETHING UP AND JUST LEAVE FOR THE HOMEOWNER. WELL, IN A MOBILE HOME THEY'RE NOT GOING TO HAVE WIRING SE ARE THEY AND SOME OF THEM DO. IT JUST DEPENDS ON THE AGE. YEAH SOME OF THEM I THINK MOST [00:10:04] OF THEM WOULD JUST BE STANDALONE RIGHT. YEAH SOME OF THEM I LIVE IN ONE AND I HAVE A NEWER ONE SO YES IT'S RED GREEN COLOR FIRE. THE OTHER QUESTION I LOOK FOR FOUR OR FIVE DISTINGUISHES THEY DO NOT THINK THAT I WILL SEE WHAT QUALIFIES A HOME FOR ONE AND WE WILL GO FROM THERE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS OR I JUST WANT TO SAY CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU YOU ARE DOING AN OUTSTANDING JOB THIS IS AND BEYOND JUST THINKING OUT OF THE BOX AND JUST AT THE NUMBERS ALL TOGETHER THE NUMBER OF HOMES THAT WE'VE ASSISTED AND I KNOW YOU'VE JUST BEEN AT THE FOREFRONT OF ALL OF THAT SO WE WANT TO GIVE YOU A ROUND OF APPLAUSE. GREAT JOB. NO PROBLEM. SO THERE IS ANOTHER FORM THAT I GAVE YOU GUYS. I WENT TO A CONFERENCE MARCH AND I APOLOGIZE. I HAVEN'T REPORTED ON THAT YET BUT SOMETHING THAT CAUGHT MY ATTENTION AT THAT CONFERENCE. WE DON'T SEE HOMELESSNESS ON THE FOREFRONT HERE IN THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON. I KNOW THERE'S SOME BUT WE DON'T YOU KNOW SEE IT I BUT I DID GIVE YOU GUYS IT'S A FLIER KIND OF LOOK AT AND READ OVER AND WHAT BRINGS ON HOMELESSNESS WE KNOW THAT RATES OF RENTALS AND EVERYTHING IS JUST GOING OUTRAGEOUSLY HIGH AND SOME OF IT CAN DEAL WITH HEALTH ISSUES AND DIFFERENT THINGS MINE ISSUES, MENTAL ILLNESS AND ALL THAT KIND GOOD STUFF. SO I JUST PUT THAT IN THERE GUYS GET BORED OR NEED SOME READING THIS AFTERNOON IT'S KIND OF READ OVER AND JUST HIGHLIGHT SOME STUFF THAT YOU GUYS HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR ANY MORE INFORMATION ON THAT JUST REACH OUT TO ME BECAUSE I HAVE A WHOLE PACKET OF INFORMATION THAT I DOWNLOADED ABOUT THAT ALSO WANTED TO GIVE YOU GUYS SOME INFORMATION MADISON, NEW RIVERSIDE THE APARTMENTS THAT ARE ON 170 ACROSS FROM THE PUBLIX GOING TOWARDS SAVANNAH THEY ARE DOING WORKFORCE HOUSING. THEY HAVE FOR US WELL TEN FOR US BY THE 80% AND 60% SO I REACHED OUT TO THEM JUST SEE IF ANYONE HAS BEEN APPLYING AND THEY HAVE BEEN THEY HAVE THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN APPROVED SO FOR THE WORKFORCE SO THEY HAVE FIVE THAT APPLIED AT THE 80% AM I AND TWO THAT APPLIED AT A 60% AM I AND THEY HAVE ALL BEEN APPROVED AND THEY ARE MOVING IN JULY SO JUST SOMETHING AS SMALL AS THAT WHAT THE WORKFORCE HOUSING WHAT THE DIFFERENT INCENTIVES FOR THE DIFFERENT APARTMENTS IS A DIFFERENCE. YOU KNOW I SPOKE TO THE APARTMENT MANAGER AND SHE SAID YEAH THEY'RE COMING IN, EVERYONE'S APPLYING AND IT SEEMS LIKE IT'S WORKING SO OUT OF THE TEN SEVEN HAVE ALREADY BEEN APPROVED SO I THINK THAT WAS THE BIG PLUS. I ALSO REACHED OUT TO CROWN AT 170 BUT THEY DIDN'T REACH BACK OUT TO ME YET. SO WHEN I GET THAT INFORMATION I CAN UPDATE YOU ALL TO TELL YOU HOW MANY WORKFORCE HOUSING APARTMENTS ARE VACANT IN THERE AS WELL WHERE IT IS MADISON MADISON IS THE ONE GOING TOWARDS MAE RIVER HIGH SCHOOL RIGHT ON THAT CIRCLE ACROSS FROM PUBLIX IS THAT NEW SIDE OF TOWN NOT WITH APARTMENTS RIGHT AT THE CIRCLE. OKAY. UM, SO YEAH I THOUGHT THAT WAS A PLUS AND I THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD THING THAT YOU KNOW, PEOPLE CAN JUMP ON THAT THE WORKFORCE HOUSING SETS OF THAT VICTORIA DO THOSE HAVE SUNSET CLAUSES TO YES YES YES AND THEY THEY HAVE THE I THINK IT'S THE 30 YEAR YES THE 30 YEAR CLAUSE WITH THE WORKFORCE PRICING WOULD YOU REPEAT I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE QUESTION AND THE ANSWER IS WE IN THE PAST OKAY AND IN SOME OTHER INFORMATION I REACHED OUT TO AMANDA DENMARK WITH PIERCE GUARD ARCHITECTS JUST TO KIND OF GIVE AN UPDATE KIND OF SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON WHAT MAY REVERT TO 1995 MAY RIVER. SO SHE WAS ABLE TO SEND ME THE DIAGRAM OF THE BUILDINGS SO WE HAVE THE FIRST BUILDING WHICH IS OUR SECOND FLOOR PLAN HERE AND I IT I DON'T MAKE A LOT OF COPIES IF YOU WANT TO COPY THIS IS JUST KIND FOR ANALYSIS IT'S NOT A ROOM YET BUT THAT'S JUST KIND THE LAYOUT OF WHAT WE'RE WORKING ON NOW WORKFORCE HOUSING, AFFORDABLE HOUSING OUR 25 PROJECT SO I DID NOT PUT IN YOUR BECAUSE LIKE I SAID IT GOT YESTERDAY IT'S NOT APPROVED YET SO WE CAN'T PUT OUT THERE LIKE WE WANT TO BUT WE'RE MOVING WE'RE GOING SOMEWHERE SO. WHAT YOU HAVE IS BUILDING 1/2 AND FIRST FLOOR BACK ELEVATION, FRONT ELEVATION AND THEN BUILDINGS AND THREE WHICH THEY'RE PRETTY MUCH ALL THE SAME LAYOUT. SO I FEEL LIKE I'M RAMBLING IS ANYBODY HAVING QUESTIONS? [00:15:09] DO WE UNIVERSAL QUESTION WHEN WHEN NOW IF SHE DIDN'T GIVE ME A WIN I DIDN'T EVEN ASK HER BECAUSE I FIGURED IF SHE HAD A WHEN SHE LEFT SHE WOULD HAVE GIVEN ME A DATE BUT SHE DID NOT GIVE ME A WIN YET SHE DID NOT GIVE ME A WIN YET. MR. CHAIRMAN, DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA OR YOU KNOW, I'VE BEEN IN STUDIOUSLY ALL RIGHT. SO I JUST TO KIND OF LET YOU GUYS SEE THAT THAT SCREENSHOT OF ALL OF THAT GOOD ONE LEVEL OR TWO THERE ARE TWO LEVELS OF SECOND FLOOR. YEAH THERE'S A SECOND SECOND FLOOR ON THE AMOUNT OF WHAT WAS ON THE SCREEN WITH THAT PLACE. YEAH I'M JUST KIND OF FLIPPING THROUGH WHAT YOU GUYS HAVE THERE. YEP. SO I JUST KIND OF ADDED ALL THAT IN TO ME ONLY 14 MINUTES IN. SO WE DO HAVE SOME RESERVE HERE THIS MORNING AND I LET YOU INTRODUCE YOURSELF SPEAKING TO THE RECORD. I DO WANT TO SAY MEG JANES CAME IN, DIDN'T FINISH. THANK YOU, MARIANNE. THANK YOU FOR. ALLOWING ME TO SIT HERE MY NAME IS BENNY MULLINS. I'VE LIVED HERE FOR OVER 20 YEARS CURRENTLY WORK FOR HARGRAVE COMMUNICATIONS ON THE COMMUNITY RELATIONS MANAGER AND MY CHILDREN BLUFFTON IS HOME THEY'RE NATIVES AND MY HEART IS TO BE ABLE TO HOPEFULLY SERVE IN SOME CAPACITY AND THAT'S THE REASON I'M HERE I PUT IN AN APPLICATION AND AGAIN MY DAUGHTER GRADUATED FROM BLUFFTON SCHOOL AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS HAVE A CHALLENGE OF FINDING AFFORDABLE HOUSING AS WELL AS EDUCATORS AND THINGS OF THAT NATURE. AND SO THAT'S THAT'S THE REASON I'M HERE. I JUST WANTED TO FIND OUT WHAT WAS GOING ON. THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST EVERYONE. SHANNON GREEN TOWN OF BLUFFTON EMPLOYEE I'VE MISSED YOU ALL I I'VE BEEN I AM ON A PROJECT FOR AN IMPLEMENTATION THAT'S SUPPOSED TO GO LIVE ON JULY 1ST SO PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THAT BUT I JUST WANTED TO COME AND SAY HELLO AND THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT OR PREVIOUS OF WHEN I'VE COME HERE BEFORE SO AND SHARED WITH YOU MY STRUGGLE FOR FINDING A FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING A LOT HAS CHANGED IN THE LAST COUPLE OF MONTHS I AM SAFELY SECURELY COMFORTABLY IN MY EXISTING RENTAL THAT I WAS IN FOR A YEAR PRIOR TO APRIL AND AM WORKING WITH ONE OF YOUR COMMITTEE MEMBERS ON HOPEFULLY FINDING A HOME TO BUY WHICH IS LIFE CHANGING AND EXHILARATING AND SCARY AND EVERYTHING EVERYTHING . BUT I JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRESENCE, FOR YOUR PURPOSE AND IT'S IMPORTANT YOU KNOW I APPRECIATE IT. SO OH AND I ALSO SCORED SOMEWHAT SOMETHING OF A WIN THE BLUE STONE WHO DID NOT TREAT MY APPLICATION VERY WELL AND I, I DID NOT GET A RENTAL WITH THEM . I WAS ABLE TO CONVINCE THEM TO RETURN APPLICATION FEE WHICH WAS $250 AND IT TOOK THEM ABOUT ALMOST TWO MONTHS BUT I DID GET IT SO. I FELT LIKE THAT WAS A LITTLE BIT OF A WIN AND I USE THE SUPPORT AND THE WORDING AND THE KNOWLEDGE THAT I'VE GAINED FROM COMING TO THESE MEETINGS TO CONVINCE TO RETURN THE MONEY TO ME SO THAT'S ABOUT IT. BUT YOU KNOW WE ENJOY WHEN YOU SHOW UP WITH ME SIR WHEN YOU SHOW UP OH YOU'RE SO KIND. THANK YOU. I CAN SEE ABOUT THAT BECAUSE YOU ARE THE REASON WHY YOUR STORY AND YOUR FLIGHT IS IS WHY WE SERVE AND THAT'S WHAT I WANT TO REPRESENT IS EVERYONE THAT LIKE THAT'S YEAH THAT WANTS TO LIVE IN THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON WORK IN THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON AND BE SUCCESSFUL AT SO I APPRECIATE IT. WHERE'S YOUR RENTAL? MY RENTAL STILL IN HARTSVILLE. I'M ON ARGENT BOULEVARD. I WAS ABLE TO NEGOTIATE WITH AN ENCOURAGEMENT ENCOURAGEMENT FROM STAPLES A 5% INCREASE AS OPPOSED TO A 10% INCREASE. AND THEY ALSO GAVE ME LESS THAN A ONE YEAR LEASE SO THAT I IF IF AND WHEN I'M ABLE TO BUY A HOME I HAVE LESS OF A TERM THAT [00:20:11] I MIGHT HAVE TO BACK OUT OF . SO THAT WAS VERY, VERY HELPFUL FOR YOU IN A TWO OR THREE BEDROOM I'M IN A ONE BEDROOM. ONE BEDROOM AND I'M GOING TO ASK YOU DON'T HAVE TO ANSWER THIS WHAT YOUR RENT THEY RAISED IT FROM IT WAS WELL THEY HAVE A LOT OF ADD ONS SO I'LL GIVE YOU THE GRAND TOTAL. SO IN LESS THAN SIX MONTHS IT'S GONE UP $705. SO SO I FEEL I FEEL LUCKY THAT I WAS ABLE TO KEEP THE ROOF OVER MY HEAD AND AND AND BE COMFORTABLE. WHAT IS THE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF THE APARTMENT I THINK IT'S ABOUT 750 MAYBE 770. IT'S IT'S NOT IT'S NOT TINY IT'S AND IT HAS A SCREENED IN BALCONY WHICH I LOVE BUT DIDN'T HAVE THAT IT WOULD BE YOU KNOW JUST THAT JUST A PLACE BUT IT WOULD BE SCREENED IN BALCONY IT'S IT'S COMFORTABLE YOU KNOW THAT'S ALL THEY'VE GOT GLAD TO SEE YOU KEEP US UP TO DATE AND I WILL I WILL, I WILL THAT IS ALL I HAVE.
