BUT THE EVENT WAS VERY SUCCESSFUL.

OUR NEXT UPCOMING EVENT IS GONNA BE THE RBC THIS YEAR WITH THE PGA TOUR AND HOW THEY DO THINGS, WE'RE GETTING MORE THAT IT'S GONNA BE A MUCH BIGGER EVENT.

MORE OF THE PLAYERS ARE INCENTIVIZED TO COME TO HILTON HEAD AND PLAY THE RBC HERITAGE.

IT WAS ALREADY A BIG EVENT.

SO THEY HAVE SOME EXTRA COORDINATION TO DO WITH WHERE WE'RE GONNA PARK ALL THEIR AIRPLANES.

UH, HOW MANY WE CAN HANDLE.

AND COORDINATION WITH AVIATION.

UH, AS I MENTIONED IN THE LAST MEETING, THE TOWER BID, UH, WE'RE GETTING IT READY TO PUT OUT.

FORBID IT'S OUT FORBID NOW FOR THE TOWER RENOVATIONS THAT WE HAD GRANT FUNDING FOR.

UH, SO WE CAN GET UPGRADES INTO THE TOWER AND GET THEM UPDATED TO THE CURRENT, UH, EQUIPMENT THAT'S REQUIRED.

AND THEN I KIND OF MENTIONED THE EMPLOYMENTS AND FUEL SALES.

UM, LAST MONTH WE WERE INCREASING.

THIS MONTH WE'RE INCREASING AGAIN OVER LAST MONTH.

UM, FUEL SALES AREN'T MATCHING LAST YEAR'S FUEL SALES, BUT WE KIND OF CONTRIBUTE THAT TO THE PANDEMIC.

UM, AND THE REASON WHY A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE FLYING.

AND ALSO I WANNA POINT OUT LAST YEAR, FUEL COSTS WERE, UH, A LOT LOWER THAN THEY ARE THIS YEAR.

UM, WERE KIND OF RECOVERING FROM THE INCREASED IN FUEL COSTS.

JUST LIKE IN YOUR CAR AND AIRPLANES, I KIND OF, EVERYBODY FILLS THE BURDEN OF THE COST GOING UP.

SO YOU'RE PAYING MORE ATTENTION TO IT.

PEOPLE ARE GETTING USED TO THOSE FUEL COSTS DOWN.

THEY'RE STARTING TO FLY AIRPLANES MORE.

AND WE SEE THAT FROM LAST MONTH AT THIS MONTH, BOTH ON THE JET SIDE AND ON THE AGAS SIDE OVER AT HILTON HEAD.

UM, MOVING OVER TO BEFOR EXECUTIVE.

UM, EVEN THOUGH THE PICTURE OF THE NAVION IS OVER AT HILTON HEAD THAT NAVION MAKES ITS PRESENCE KNOWN OVER A R D W QUITE A BIT.

SO I WANTED TO PUT HIM IN THERE.

UH, WE HELD OUR ANNUAL CLIENT FROG 5K EVENT.

THIS WAS THE SECOND CLIENT, UH, SECOND CLIENT FROG, BUT THIRD 5K RACE.

WE HAD MORE PARTICIPANTS OUT THERE AND TALKING TO THE PARTICIPANTS, UM, THEY SEEMED TO REALLY ENJOY THE UNIQUENESS OF BEING ABLE TO RUN ON THE RUNWAY AND THROUGH THE HANGER AREA AND ON THE TAXIWAYS.

UM, WE HAD SOME MUSIC OUT THERE SO I WAS OUT THERE MAKING SURE PEOPLE WERE MAKING THE RIGHT TURNS AND EVERYBODY THAT RAN BY ME HAD A SMILE ON THEIR FACE.

THEY WERE TRYING TO WIN THE RACE AND THEY WERE FOCUSED ON TRYING TO WIN THE RACE.

SO THAT WAS GOOD.

SOME UPCOMING PROJECTS OVER AT A R W.

WE JUST MET WITH LANDSCAPERS, A THIRD ROUND OF LANDSCAPERS WHO THEY SAID GIVE THEM TWO WEEKS AND THEY'RE GONNA COME BACK.

BUT THEY SPEND A GOOD TWO HOURS MEASURING, LOOKING, UNDERSTANDING WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR.

SO THEY'RE GONNA GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD AND HOPEFULLY HAVE SOME PLANS FOR US WITHIN TWO WEEKS.

SO THE NEXT BOARD MEETING, WE SHOULD HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF EXACTLY WHAT THEY'RE GONNA DO, THAT WE CAN, UM, MAKE THE OUTSIDE AREAS OF THE TERMINAL MATCH THE EXTERIOR INTERIOR TERMINAL.

UM, SAME THING WITH RW TOOL SALES JET AND ARE TRENDING UP FROM LAST MONTH.

AS YOU KNOW, THERE ARE CONSULTANTS, OUR AIRPORT CONSULTANTS, AND THIS ISN'T CONCERNING THE TERMINAL PROJECT, AS YOU GUYS KNOW AND LADIES, UH, AND WE'RE BRIEF BEFORE WE PUT OUT BIDS TO BUILD THE TERMINAL IN ITS ENTIRE, UM, THE BIDS THAT WE DID RECEIVE CAME BACK AND LIKE THEY WERE IN THE RANGE OF 40% HIGHER THAN WHAT THE ENGINEERS EXPECTED THAT TO BE DUE TO INFLATION.

THEN JOHN CAN GO OUT AND FIND THE FUNDS FOR THE SECOND PHASE, WHICH WILL COMPLETE THE TERMINAL PROJECT.

IT DOESN'T LOOK TO BE SETTING US BACK NO MORE THAN 30, 45 DAYS AT THIS POINT IN TIME.

I GREW UP IN A HARD WORKING MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY.

AND WE ALSO DON'T REALLY CARE.

THAT'S KIND OF A BORING, LAME OR STORY .

I THINK IT'S REALLY WELL DIALED IN BEING FROM THE INDUSTRY.

UM, I KNOW IT CAN BE REALLY, UM, IT CAN GROUPS CAN REALLY OVERTAKE AN AREA AND, AND THERE'S A LOT OF ENTITLEMENT THAT SOMETIMES COMES.

AND THESE GUYS HAVEN'T, HAVEN'T SHOWN THAT.

I THINK THAT THEY'RE, THEY'VE BEEN REALLY RESPECTFUL WITH THE PARK AND I THINK PARK IS RECIPROCATING THAT.

SO WORKING WITH THEM, UM, HAS, HAS BEEN A REALLY BENEFICIAL THING BOTH FOR THE PARK AND FOR THE COMPANY.

AND I THINK, UH, I THINK IT'S GREAT TO KIND OF FOSTER THAT, THAT COMMUNICATION AND THAT, UM, THAT UH, KIND OF, UH, UH, COOPERATION BETWEEN THE TWO ENTITIES, YOU KNOW, MAKES EVERYBODY HAPPY.

WELL, I JUST WANT TO THANK THE PARKS AGAIN FOR STEPPING UP TO THE PLATE AND MAKING IT HAPPEN.

YOU KNOW, OUR STATE PARKS HAVE, HAVE A WONDERFUL, UM, MECHANISM IN PLACE TO NOT ONLY ALLOW THE CITIZENS TO STILL VISIT AND THEY MADE THAT HAPPEN BECAUSE THEY UNDERSTAND THAT AS A STATE AGENCY, JUST LIKE CORRECTIONS DID FOR HALLOWEEN, WHEN THEY ALLOWED, UH, A CLOSED SECTION OF THEIR PRISON TO BE USED.

AND YOU KNOW, SO DIFFERENT STATE AGENCIES HAVE COME ON BOARD TO REALLY HELP US BE THIS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ENGINE FOR THE STATE TO DRIVE THIS, THIS, UM, THIS INDUSTRY, THIS FILM INDUSTRY HERE TO THE STATE AND MAKE IT HAPPEN.

EVERYBODY IN YOUR LINE KEEPS GETTING WATER UP THE NOTES, YOU'RE DIPPING 'EM BACK TOO FAR.
