SO IT DOES TRIGGER THAT 15 TREES REQUIRED PER ACRE. SO HERE'S AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT WOULD BE REQUIRED IF THIS LAYOUT WERE APPROVED. AGAIN, THIS IS JUST IN THE REVIEW STAGE CONCEPTUAL.

THERE MAY BE SOME THINGS THAT THEY COULD DO TO THAT PARKING TO REWORK THAT AND GET ALL THE TREES PLANTED. BUT THERE ARE TOTAL TREES THAT WOULD BE REQUIRED IS TWENTY FOUR ON SITE. THIS PLAN SHOWS 19 TREES PLANTED.

SO THEY WOULD HAVE TO MITIGATE FOR FIVE. SO THAT COULD BE PAYING IN THE TREE. TREE MITIGATION BANK OR COULD BE A COMBINATION THAT I'LL GO THROUGH. SO HERE'S ONE SCENARIO AGAIN THAT THEY FIGURE OUT WITH STAFF AND PLANNING COMMISSION A WAY TO PLANT THOSE TREES, THOSE GREEN DOTS.

THERE ARE SOME SUGGESTIONS THAT STAFF HAS INITIALLY LIKE HERE'S WHERE YOU COULD PLANT THOSE TREES. YOU'LL NOTICE THAT IT'S NOT WITHIN THE REQUIRED BUFFER.

IT TRULY IS NOT POSSIBLE TO PLANT THESE TREES ON SITE. SO WE ARE GOING TO PAY FOR TREE MITIGATION. AGAIN, THIS IS SOMETHING STAFF WOULD REVIEW.

WHAT THEY'RE REQUIRED TO DO IS THE ORDINANCE SAYS THAT IT IS AT MARKET RIGHT.

PLUS INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF THE TREE. SO WHAT WE WOULD DO PROCEDURALLY IS GO THROUGH AND GET THREE QUOTES SIMILAR TO OUR PROCUREMENT POLICY ALIVE, OK.

WHAT IS IT COST? WHAT'S THE AVERAGE FROM A NURSERY AND THEN IT WOULD BE ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE PERCENT. SO THAT 25 PERCENT ADDITIONAL THAN THE STANDARD COST THE TREE WOULD BE TO ADMINISTER THE ACCOUNT TO THE LOGISTICS OF ORDERING THE TREE, OBTAINING THE TREE, FINDING A PLACE TO PLAN IT, MAINTAINING IT AND MOVING FORWARD.
