[6. COUNCIL MEMBER DISCUSSION ]

WE WILL HAVE A COUNCIL MEMBER DISCUSSION AT THIS TIME DISCUSSING THE COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING AS WELL AS ANY OTHER MATTERS THAT MAY BE UP BEFORE WE GO INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION.

I WILL NOTE THAT ON THE COUNTY COUNCIL MEETING IF YOU GO TO THE FINAL PAGE OF THE AGENDA ITEM NUMBER 12 AND 13. 13 IS A DUPLICATE OF ITEM NUMBER TWELVE WHEN THE AGENDA WAS BEING PUT TOGETHER. IT WAS SURE WE WEREN'T SURE AT THAT TIME IF MR. JIM JACK WAS A SECOND TERM OR A THIRD TERM IS A THIRD TERM THEY ACCIDENTALLY PUT BOTH OF THEM IN THERE.

SO ITEM NUMBER 13 IS BEING REMOVED FROM THE AGENDA. SO WHEN WE GET TO THE AGENDA WE WILL OFFER THE AGENDA AS AMENDED. WE'LL HAVE SOMEBODY AMEND TO TAKE ITEM NUMBER 13 OUT AND APPROVE IT AS AMENDED. ARE THERE ANY OTHER ITEMS OF DISCUSSION MR. FLOWING? THANK YOU, MR. CHAIRMAN. I'M WONDERING IF WE CAN GET AN UPDATE FROM STAFF ABOUT HOW THEY INTEND TO PROCEED WITH THE FUNDING THAT WAS DIRECTED BY COUNTY COUNCIL TO THE TABERNACLE BAPTIST CHOIR GUARDING THE HARRIET TUBMAN TUBMAN MEMORIAL THAT WE WERE THAT WE HAD RECEIVED NOTICE OF AND DENIED TO OTHER OTHER

THINK THAT TRANSPARENCY WOULD BE THE PROBLEM TODAY. >> BUT WHY DO YOU THINK IT WOULD BE SOMETHING THAT'S COVERED UNDER EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE? BRIAN, THIS IS TOM CAVANEY. WHAT WE PLAN TO DO IS TO TALK ABOUT THE STATUTES, TALK ABOUT SOME A.G. OPINIONS, TALK ABOUT COUNSELS OPTIONS AND THEN COUNSEL CAN COME OUT

OF EXECUTIVE SESSION AND TALK ABOUT IT ALL THEY WANT. >> WELL, WHAT DO YOU WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING TO BE TALKING ABOUT THAT REQUIRES EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE STUFF? ARE YOU. ARE YOU GIVING AN OPINION AT THAT POINT? MR. CAVANEY, WE'RE GOING TO BE DISCUSSING THE LAW AND ADVISING COUNSEL ON THE LAW.

>> AND THEN COUNSEL CAN TALK ABOUT ITS OPTIONS, DOESN'T HAVE TO DISCUSS ITS OPTIONS IN

EXECUTIVE SESSION. >> OK, OK. >> THANK YOU.

I'M MR. CHAIRMAN. I'M TROUBLED BY THIS AND WILL VOTE NO.
