THE THOUSAND 21 WE ARE MEETING IS NOW CALLED THE AUDIT.
GIVE ME HAVE A ROLL CALL, PLEASE.
FRED HAMILTON, DAN WOOD MUTED MUTED, JOHN NICKEL, JOHN NICKEL AND CHAMBERS HERE.
MEG JAMES HERE, THE NOLA'S POLITE AND GRACE STAPLES.
EVERYONE IS IN EXCEPT FOR TWO.
AND IF WE GET THEM IN, I'LL ANNOUNCE THEIR TIME COMING IN.
UM, RIGHT NOW WE HAVE THE ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA.
UM, CAN I GET A MOTION TO ADOPT THE AGENDA SECOND? ALL IN FAVOR AND LET IT BE KNOWN BY SAYING AYE.
THE ADOPTION OF THE MINUTES FROM OCTOBER THE 17TH.
UM, CAN I GET, UM, MOTION TO ADOPT? OKAY.
ARE THERE ANY PUBLIC COMMENTS? NO, NO, SIR.
IT SEEMS TO ME LIKE THERE OUGHT TO BE SOME ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THE ELECTION YESTERDAY AND SOME CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR CHAIR.
SO, UH, I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE THAT PUBLIC COMMENT.
UM, WE WILL GET INTO OLD AND NEW BUSINESS, BUT IN, IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANT PROGRAM BUDGET, VICTORIA, I'M GOING TO SKIP A FEW SLIDES TO GET US WHERE WE NEED TO BE EVERYONE.
THE ADOPTED BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 22 NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM WAS ADOPTED AT 190,000 ON STAFF CONTINUES TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS TO ASSIST INCOME QUALIFIED HOUSEHOLDS AND BLUFFTON.
AS OF OCTOBER 28, WHEN THIS REPORT WAS SUBMITTED AVAILABLE, BUDGET WAS $128,324 AND 16 CENTS 61,000 6, 75 84 HAS BEEN PAID OUT ON ROOFING REPAIRS, SEPTIC PUMP OUTS AND INCOME VERIFICATION INVOICES AS WELL AS OF OCTOBER 28TH, NINE HOMES HAVE BEEN ASSISTED AND EIGHT HOMES ARE WAITING ON WORK ESTIMATES FOR SERVICES, SUCH AS ROOF REPAIRS, WET FLOOR REPAIRS, AND HEAVY TREE LIMB REMOVALS.
NOW OUT OF THAT EIGHT THREE, WE'LL START IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
UM, I DID A INVENTORY OF MY FOLDERS AND THREE OF THOSE EIGHT HOMES WILL START IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS.
ANY QUESTIONS ON THIS BREAKDOWN, THEN I'LL TAKE US TO OUR LAYOUT AND THIS KIND OF GIVES A LITTLE BIT MORE OF, UM, WHERE OUR FUNDS WENT AND WHAT EACH COLUMN LOOKS LIKE SO FAR.
CAN YOU, UH, CAN YOU TAKE LINE BY LINE AND THEN EXPLAIN? YEP, SURE.
UM, UNDER HOME REPAIR OR REHABILITATION IS HOME REPAIR SLASH MINOR RIGHT NOW AT HOME REPAIRS SLASH MINOR IS PRETTY MUCH OUR BIG ITEMS, SUCH AS ROOFING REPAIRS.
I'M ASSUMING REPAIRS, IT'S NOT CONSIDERED MINOR.
SO WE MIGHT WANT TO TALK ABOUT THAT, CHANGING IT TO MAJOR, CAUSE IT IS PRETTY MUCH THE MAJOR HOME REPAIRS THAT FALLS UNDER THAT LINE.
AND THERE WE'VE SPENT THE 61 50 84 AND THAT'S THE EIGHT HOMES.
UM, EIGHT HOMES HAD THOSE MAJOR REPAIRS.
THERE IS A ASTERISK BY IT BECAUSE AS OF RIGHT NOW, I TAKE THE, UM, INVOICE, THE INCOME VERIFICATION INVOICE COMES OUT OF THAT LINE ITEM AS WELL.
SO IT'S ACTUALLY, UM, AS YOU CAN SEE DOWN ON THE BOTTOM, I PUT AN ASTERIX, SO YOU CAN KIND OF LET TALK AND LET YOU KNOW THAT THE INVOICES CAME OUT OF THAT FOR INCOME VERIFICATION.
[00:05:01]
WE HAVEN'T DONE ANY ABATEMENTS.THAT'S STILL A WHOLE NUMBER THERE, PROPERTY CLEANUP, SEPTIC PUMP OUT.
SO WE HAVEN'T DONE ANY PROPERTY CLEANUP, BUT THAT 4 25 DOES INCLUDE TWO SEPTIC PUMP OUT, UH, PRIVATE ROLL REPAIR, NO REQUESTS FOR THAT RIGHT NOW, THE 9 1, 1 ADDRESSING NO REQUEST FOR THAT AS OF TODAY.
AND TREE MITIGATION IS STILL AT 10,000, BUT WHEN WE MEET AGAIN, WE WILL HAVE TO IN THAT COLUMN BECAUSE WE'RE WORKING ON TWO, UM, HOMES THAT ARE, HAS, HAVE EXPORTS SOME LIMBS TO BE CUT BACK.
UM, PHONE REPAIR THAT JUST SAID MAY NEED CHANGE, UM, ON LINE A, FROM MINOR TO MAJOR, HOW WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THAT? UM, I BELIEVE, UH, I MIGHT HAVE TO THROUGH THE CHAIN OF COMMAND, I'M NOT SURE IF IT'S STAFF FIRST AND THEN I BRING TO YOU FOR WORDING ON HOW WE WOULD NEED TO CHANGE IT.
BUT, UM, IF WE CAN DO IT NOW, IF YOU, UM, IF YOU WANT TO DO A VOTE ON IT, BUT LIKE I STAYED AT HOME REPAIR THAT FIRST MINE IS FOR ME CONSIDERED MAJOR.
CAUSE THAT'S THE ROOF, THAT'S THE CEILINGS AND DIFFERENT THINGS LIKE THAT.
SO I'M NOT HOW SURE HOW WE CAME ABOUT THE MINOR, BUT IT IS KIND OF A MAJOR BANK IN MAJOR INVOICES THAT COME OUT OF THAT ONE.
SO LIKE I SAID, I'M NOT SURE IF WE CAN VOTE ON IT RIGHT NOW, BUT IF IT NEEDS TO GO TOWN COUNCIL, BECAUSE WHAT CHANGING SOMETHING THAT'S UM, A COMMITTEE WISE, YOU WOULD LET ME KNOW.
I MEAN THE SAME ME I'M THROWING IT OUT THERE.
I THINK THE VERBIAGE WOULD BE MINOR SLASH MAJOR.
I, I THINK YOU CAN INCLUDE BOTH IN THERE, NOT JUST ONE OR THE OTHER YOU PUT MAJOR, THEN IF YOU HAVE A SMALLER EXPENSE, IT'S GOING TO LOOK LIKE IT'S OUT OF CHARACTER PLACE.
DO WE, DO WE HAVE TO PUT MAJOR OR MINOR? COULD IT JUST BE HOME REPAIR AND DO WE NEED TO LOOK BACK MAYBE AT THE, THE LARGER DESCRIPTIONS WE HAVE FOR THESE, UH, MAY END DAN GRAY POINTS? UM, I THINK WE CAN JUST SAY HOME REPAIRS.
WE DON'T NEED TO DO A GAY, ORNATE.
WE'LL DO ANY, ANY OTHER THOUGHTS OR QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BUDGET? UM, AND DAN CHIME IN WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE WITH, UH, DAN AND I MET WITH, UM, STATE OF MIND WHO IS, WHO IS THE DEVELOPERS FOR OUR HOME PROJECTS.
AND I LEFT THERE FEELING LIKE IF THEY REALLY STILL COMMITTED TO DOING THE PROJECT, BUT THERE'S SOME, THERE'S STILL A LITTLE BIT OF A SEMANTICS ABOUT THIS CONTRACT, BUT OTHER THAN THAT, IT SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE COMMITTED.
UM, AND I THINK THAT WAS AN IMPORTANT FOR YOU GUYS TO KNOW BECAUSE UM, NOTHING HAS HAPPENED AND IT SEEMS LIKE NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN, BUT, UM, THEY'RE THERE THEY'RE ALL MOVEMENT.
AND I THINK SOMETIME THIS WEEK WE COULD PROBABLY PUT, UM, PUT A PIN IN IT.
SO, UM, YOU WANT TO ADD ANYTHING TO THAT? DAMN, NO, SIR.
ANY, UH, ANY, ANY THOUGHTS, UH, OR ANY OTHER CONCERNS FROM THE COMMITTEE? THIS WON'T BE A RECORD REPEAT.
WELL, UM, WE ARE DOWN TO, UM, I GUESS TO THE MOST IMPORTANT, UM, PART, AND THAT IS A GERMAN IS THE RECORDS THAT WAS 10, 10 MINUTES.
SO I THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR COMMITMENT AND YOUR, AND YOUR INPUT.
SO LET'S, UH, LET'S SEE EACH OTHER AGAIN NEXT MONTH.
[00:10:01]
AND HOPEFULLY WE HAVE, UH, MORE ON THE HOME REPAIR.I MEAN THE HOME, UM, UH, STATE OF MIND, UM, PROJECT FOR US, WHAT THEY, UM, WITH THE, PUTTING UP SOME HOMES THAT PEOPLE CAN GET LIVE IN.
I THINK SOMETHING SHOULD GET STARTED BY THE END OF THE YEAR, UH, FIRST PLAN FIRST PART OF NEXT YEAR.
