SEPTEMBER 2ND, 2021 AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE.

MANY IS KNOWN IN SESSION.

CAN WE GET A ROLL CALL PLEASE? WHEN I CALL YOUR NAME, PLEASE STATE HERE ARE PRESENT FOR THE RECORD.

FRED HAMILTON, PRESIDENT DAN WOOD WITH DEAN HANDGUN, GRACE STAPLES PRESENT.

MAKE JAMES HERE, JOHN NICKEL, ALWAYS POLITE.

THANK YOU.

WE HAVE, UM, THE AGENDA BEFORE YOU WAS SENT TO YOU IS ALSO POSTED, CAN I GET A MOTION TO ACCEPT THE AGENDA AS PRESENTED? SO MOVED SECOND ALL IN FAVOR.

LET ME KNOW BY SAYING AYE.

AYE.

POSES AYES HAVE IT.

AND NOW THE ADOPTION OF THE MINUTES FROM OUR LAST MEETING OF AUGUST THE FIFTH, 2021.

CAN I GET A MOTION TO ACCEPT THOSE MINUTES? OKAY.

THEN MOVING PROPERTIES SECOND, ALL IN FAVOR.

LET IT BE KNOWN BY SAYING AYE POSE AS HAVING, UH, DO WE HAVE ANY PUBLIC COMMENTS AT THIS TIME? YES, SIR.

THANK YOU ALL BUSINESS AND NEW BUSINESS, UM, VICTORIA, THAT YOU, YES, SIR.

ALL RIGHT.

GOOD ONE.

AND AGAIN TO EVERYONE, UM, WE ARE NOW IN SEPTEMBER, THIS FLEW BY US.

SO WE ARE NOW LOOKING AT WHAT'S AHEAD IN SEPTEMBER.

SO I'M GOING TO CHANGE MY SCREEN OVER TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM UPDATE FOR WHERE WE ARE NOW.

SO I'M GOING TO FLIP A COUPLE OF SCREENS AND CAN EVERYONE SEE THIS MEMO? YES.

ALL RIGHT.

SO WHAT WE HAVE TOTAL AVAILABLE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 22 NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IS 190,000.

EXCUSE ME.

DOW STAFF CONTINUES TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS TO ASSIST INCOME QUALIFIED HOUSEHOLDS IN THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON.

AS OF AUGUST 26TH, 2021.

WHEN THIS REPORT WAS SUBMITTED, THE AVAILABLE BUDGET IS $169,430, 11,770 HAS BEEN PAID OUT ON ROOFING REPAIRS AND SOMETHING SEPTIC PUMP OUT.

THERE'S ONE INVOICE WAITING TO BE CLEARED THROUGH FINANCE, BUT 9,000 HUNDRED AS OF AUGUST 26TH, 2021, THREE HOMES HAVE BEEN SERVICED THROUGH THE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM.

AND SEVEN HOMES ARE WAITING ON CONTRACT ESTIMATES FOR WORK TO BEGIN.

UM, LET'S GO BACK UP TO THAT TOP LINE.

UM, AS YOU ALL KNOW, AS WE TALKED ABOUT FOR ALMOST THE PAST YEAR COVID PRICES HAS REALLY GONE UP ON CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS WHEN IT COMES TO DIFFERENT ITEMS THAT NEED TO BE DONE THROUGHOUT PROGRAM STEPPED AT PUMP OUTS ALSO WENT UP, UH, THE SERVICE COMPANY THAT WE USE THEY'VE WENT UP A HUNDRED DOLLARS.

THEY DIDN'T INFORM ME, UM, ABOUT THREE, FOUR OR FIVE MONTHS AGO WHEN I SPOKE WITH CHARLOTTE AND KEVIN.

SO THEY DID GO UP.

I DID LOOK AROUND FOR OTHER SERVICES, BUT THEY'VE ALL GONE UP.

UM, WHETHER IT BE 75 OR A HUNDRED DOLLARS, EVERYONE HAS GONE UP.

UM, WE HAVE ONE SEPTIC PUMP OUT THAT WAS ON THE SCHEDULE FOR THIS WEEK.

AND UNFORTUNATELY WHEN THEY GAVE ME A CALL, IT WAS SUPPOSED TO GO OUT ON TUESDAY.

THEY HAVE EIGHT MEN ON THE TEAM AND SIX, SEVEN COLBY.

SO A LOT OF PROJECTS HAVE BEEN PUSHED BACK.

UM, AND THAT'S ONE REASON THAT SEVEN HOMES ARE WAITING ON CONTRACTOR ESTIMATES.

SO I HAVE REACHED OUT TO DIFFERENT CONTRACTORS THAT WE HAVE, UM, THAT WE HAVEN'T USED JUST GOOGLING DIFFERENT CONTRACTORS IN THIS AREA.

AND THEY'RE ALL, UM, THEY'RE BOOKED.

SO I'M LIKE, I ALWAYS SAY, I LET OUR RESIDENTS KNOW, THINGS ARE MOVING.

IT'S JUST RIGHT NOW WITH, UM, MATERIAL COSTS AND THIS COVID X COME BACK FULL FORCE.

EVERYTHING IS KIND OF MOVING A LITTLE STAGGERED.

SO THAT'S WHY THAT BIG NUMBER OF SEVEN HOMES ARE WAITING ON CONTRACTOR ESTIMATES.

BECAUSE AS YOU KNOW, WE HAVE TO HAVE THE THREE ESTIMATES, UM, SINCE I'VE BEEN ON BOARD, WHEN I REACH OUT TO THE THREE, MAYBE ONE OR JUST TO REACH BACK OUT.

SO TRYING TO MAKE SURE THAT WE GET THE RIGHT NUMBER DOLLAR AMOUNTS SINCE THINGS HAVE GONE UP.

SO I'M TRYING TO GET THAT RIGHT DOLLAR AMOUNT WHERE IT'S NOT THE CHEAPEST, BUT IT'S THE BEST WORK.

UM, AND I LOOK AT IT WHEN CHARLOTTE LOOKS AT IT AND WHEN KEVIN LOOKS AT IT.

SO, UM, IF YOU DO HAVE A QUESTION THAT SHOULD BE THAT ANSWER FOR THAT QUESTION.

IF YOU HAD A QUESTION ON WHY THE SEVEN HOMES ARE WAITING ON CONTRACTOR ESTIMATES, SO ANY QUESTIONS, THE MEMO

[00:05:04]

SEEING NO HEADS OR NO HANDS UP, I'LL ROLL DOWN TO THE ACTUAL EXCEL SHEET OF THAT.

AND THAT'S PRETTY MUCH A BREAKDOWN OF WHAT I JUST EXPLAINED TO YOU ALL THE SEPTIC PUMP OUT, WHEREAS 300 NOW IT USED TO BE, I BELIEVE 2 65, ALREADY TWO 50 TO 70.

SO THAT'S THAT ONE HOME WITH THAT $300 SEPTIC PUMP OUT.

UM, ANY QUESTIONS THERE? ALL RIGHT.

EVERYONE'S QUIET.

SO THAT'S, UH, A GOOD THING.

I HOPE SO.

I'M GOING TO SCROLL DOWN TO OUR NEXT SHEET.

UM, WELL THAT SAYS AGENDA AGAIN.

THAT'S NOT WHERE WE ARE.

HOLD ON ONE SECOND.

IT TOOK ME BACK TO THE TOP.

SO I DO HAVE, UM, I HAVE A PROJECT THAT I'M WORKING ON NOW.

I'VE BEEN WORKING ON FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR ROOF, DRY, SAFE REPAIRS.

SO THIS HOME IS ACTUALLY NOT, I'M NOT ASKING FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS, BUT THE SAFE AND DRY EXCEEDS THE $5,000 STATEMENT, DRY LIMITED THAT WE HAVE ON THE PROGRAM.

SO THE STATE CAN DRY IS ACTUALLY GOING OVER THE 5,000 BY 1,550.

SO I JUST WANTED TO BRING THAT TO YOU ALL.

SO YOU CAN SEE EXACTLY THE ROOF IS RIGHT WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE WITH REPAIRS.

AND I'LL SCROLL DOWN TO THAT.

THE ESTIMATE ON THE ROOF IS RIGHT WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE IN THE COST LIMIT, BUT THE SAFE AND DRY INSIDE REPAIRS EXCEEDS THE FACT THAT SOME DOLLARS.

SO I JUST HAVE A LITTLE BIT OF THAT.

I DON'T KNOW IF YOU ALL READ OVER IT, IF YOU WANT ME TO JUST KIND OF FLIP THROUGH AND LET YOU SEE PICTURES OR EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE WITH THAT TO SAY YAY OR NAY.

SO I'LL TAKE ANY COMMENTS OR QUESTIONS AND THEN I'LL JUST FLIP THROUGH IF YOU HAVE ANY, UM, LET, I DON'T THINK WE CAN DO THAT.

UM, WITHOUT COUNCIL APPROVAL, REALLY? I DON'T THINK WE CAN DO THAT.

I THINK, UM, MR. HAMILTON, YES, THIS IS KEVIN KEVIN, AND I OCCURRED.

UM, SO THE WAY THAT WE PUT THE, UM, THE PROGRAM TOGETHER, IT, IT ACTUALLY DOES GIVE THE AUTHORITY TO THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE TO, UM, IT'S THE $5,000 PORTION FOR THE SAFE AND DRY, UM, AND ANY, ANY, ANY AMOUNT OVER THAT PORTION, UM, UP TO $5,000 COULD BE APPROVED BY THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE.

UM, SO WE, WE PUT THE, PUT IT IN THE PROGRAM TO GIVE YOU THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE, THE AUTHORITY TO MAKE, TO MAKE THAT DECISION.

THE ULTIMATE GOAL WAS TO, WE DIDN'T WANT, WE DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE IT IN STAFF'S HAND, BUT ACTUALLY BRING IT TO THE COMMITTEE, UM, AS A WHOLE, TO BE ABLE TO MAKE THAT DECISION.

KEVIN, I DON'T KNOW.

I THINK WE MAY BE NOT SAYING THE SAME THING.

LET ME MAKE SURE I UNDERSTAND YOU.

WE CAN DO UP TO $5,000 WITHOUT COUNCIL APPROVAL.

UM, THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE, IS THAT WHAT YOU'RE SAYING? UM, WE, WELL, STAFF, UH, TOWN COUNCIL GAVE THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE, THE AUTHORITY WHO THEN GAVE IT TO STAFF TO GO UP TO $5,000.

SO THAT WAY WE DIDN'T HAVE TO BRING ANY OF THAT TO YOU, RIGHT? BUT ONCE WE HIT THAT $5,000 THRESHOLD FROM 5,000 TO 10,000, THE AUTHORITY TOWN COUNCIL GAVE TO YOU IS THAT YOU CAN AT YOUR DISCRETION.

YOU KNOW, WHEN YOU REVIEW A PROJECT, YOU HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO APPROVE ANY SPINACHES BETWEEN THAT $5,000 MARK AND $10,000 MARK FOR THE SAFE AND DRY COMPONENT TO IT.

UM, AND THAT'S WHERE THIS ONE, WHAT WHAT'S INTERESTING IS THAT WHILE WE DID NOT, IT DIDN'T GO OVER THE MAXIMUM FOR THE, FOR THE ROOF, WHICH IS THE MAX OUT AT 10,000, WHICH I THINK IT WAS 8,700 OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

UM, BUT WE'VE, WE'VE KIND OF GONE OVER THAT $5,000 MARK AS IT RELATES TO THAT SAFE AND DRY PORTION OF IT.

UM, SO, UM, YOU KNOW, WE, WE MADE SURE THAT, UM, OUR, YOU KNOW, THE TOWN ATTORNEY, UH, WHEN HE REVIEWED THAT POLICY, UM, THAT EVERYTHING WAS, WAS ACCURATE.

UH, AND THEN IT GAVE THE AUTHORITY TO YOU AS THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMMITTEE.

UM, THAT'S NOT THE WAY I UNDERSTAND IT, BUT IF, IF, IF THAT'S, IF THE ATTORNEY APPROVED THAT, THEN I'LL I'LL SUPPORT IT.

BUT I THINK WE ONLY ALLOWED TO DO THE MAX OF 15,000 PER HOME.

SO ANYTHING OVER THAT IS MY OPINION.

AND I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE ATTORNEY UNDERSTAND IS THE SAME WAY.

I UNDERSTAND IT TOO, BUT THIS NOT TO NOT TO INTERRUPT, BUT THIS ONE DOESN'T TAKE US OVER TO 1516.

NO, NO, NO, NO, NO.

THIS ONE HAS THIS CAPPED AT 14, 750.

[00:10:01]

THE ONLY THING THAT'S GOING OVER IS THAT SAFE AND DRY OF THE 5,000.

BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT YOU'RE STILL SAYING THE SAME THING I'M SAYING, SEE, 15 IS STILL THE MAX, NO MATTER IF IT'S NO MATTER WHAT THE REPAIR IS, THE MAX IS 15, RIGHT? IF IT'S ROOF AND, AND, UH, WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO PASS THE ROOF.

SO THE ROOF WAS 10 MAX AND THEN REPAIRS, OTHER THAN THE ROOF IS FIVE, IS 5,000 MAX.

SO ANYTHING OVER 15, I DON'T THINK WE ALLOWED TO DO.

AND IF, IF I MAY, UH, COUNSEL AND HAMPTON, WHAT I CAN DO IS I CAN, UM, I'LL GO BACK THROUGH THE PROGRAM.

UM, AND WE'LL, WE'LL KIND OF TAKE A LOOK AT IT AGAIN AND HAVE THE ATTORNEY, UM, TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT, JUST TO CLARIFY THAT.

AND IF IT'S OKAY WITH YOU, WHAT WE'LL DO IS WE'LL, WE'LL SEND OUT A, A, UM, A LETTER TO ALL OF THE, TO YOURSELF AS WELL AS THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS.

UM, JUST MAKING SURE THAT, THAT WE'RE, WE'RE, UH, WE ALL HAVE THE SAME UNDERSTANDING.

UM, SO, AND, AND AS, UH, VICKY HAS SHOWN ON HERE, YOU ARE CORRECT.

WE HAVE NOT GONE OVER THAT MAXIMUM OF WHAM GONE OVER $15,000.

SO IT'S STILL UNDER THAT $15,000 THRESHOLD.

IT JUST, LIKE I WAS SAYING IT, IT BUMPED ITSELF UP OVER THE $5,000 FOR THE SAFE AND DRIVE, BUT THE ROOF REPAIR WASN'T AS MUCH.

OKAY.

IT'S REALLY, IT'S, IT'S, IT'S A NUMBER, UNFORTUNATELY, IT'S ALMOST A NUMBERS GAME RIGHT NOW.

UM, BUT WE'RE, AS YOU CAN SEE, THAT TOTAL IS STILL UNDER THE 15,000.

YES.

AND THEN, THEN WE'RE GOOD.

WE DON'T, I DON'T NEED, I DON'T NEED THE ATTORNEY'S OPINION ON THAT ONE, BECAUSE AS LONG AS WE ARE UNDER, UNDER THE 15 MAX, WE GOOD? YES, SIR.

OKAY.

ALL RIGHT.

AND NOT TO, NOT TO KEEP BACKTRACKING, BUT I THINK WE JUST WANT IT.

STAFF JUST WANTED TO BRING IT TO YOU ALL, BECAUSE IT WAS GOING OVER A LOT.

IT'S SAFE AND DRY, NOT THE ALLOWED IT 15, BUT A LOT IT'S SAFE AND DRY.

I GOT IT.

OKAY.

SORRY FOR THE CONFUSION.

OKAY.

SO, UM, THOSE PICTURES, I WAS JUST TRYING TO GET TO THE ESTIMATE.

UM, DO YOU GUYS WANT TO SEE THOSE SLOWER? I'M SORRY, I'M JUST GOING TO THE ESTIMATE.

GO BACK TO THE PICTURES.

PLEASE TAKE US BACK TO THE BEGINNING.

ALL RIGHT.

UH, SO THE FIRST ONE IS UNDER THE KITCHEN SINK THIS HOME.

SO IT'S VERY WET.

UM, AS YOU CAN SEE, IT'S MESSING UP THE, THE WALL PANEL AND THE FLOORING OF UNDER THE KITCHEN SINK, WHICH IS NOW COMING FROM UNDER THAT KITCHEN COUNTER OUT TO WHERE THE REFRIGERATOR IS.

SO IT'S, IT'S SOFT TOUCH, VERY SOFT TO THE STAND.

UH, THE NEXT ONE, UM, YOU CAN'T REALLY, WHEN WE GO OUT TO TAKE ROOT BRIDGES, YOU CAN'T REALLY SEE, BUT THE SHINGLES ON THIS IS IT'S DRIED OUT A BRITTLE.

I WENT OUT WITH ABERDEEN INSPECTOR, RICHARD SPRUCE.

SO YOU CAN'T REALLY SEE IT BY THE PICTURES, BUT IT IS DRIED OUT AND BRUTAL ANOTHER ONE OF THE SHINGLES ON THE ROOF.

OKAY.

UH, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEDROOMS WHERE THAT WATER HAS COME IN BECAUSE OF THE ROOF AND THE SHINGLES KIND OF GOING DOWN THAT WALL, ANOTHER ROOM.

AND THEN THIS IS THE BATHROOM KIND OF THE SAME AS WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE KITCHEN.

JUST THAT WATER SEEPING DOWN THE, THE WALL PANEL AND MESSING UP THE FLOOR AND UNDER THE TOILET.

SO WE WANT TO TRY AND GET THAT FIXED BEFORE THE WHOLE TOILET DROPS THROUGH, AND THEN THEY HAVE A WHOLE, A WHOLE NOTHER PROBLEM TO DEAL WITH.

RIGHT.

ANY QUESTIONS ON THAT, OR GO BACKWARDS TO ANY OTHER PITCH, TO ANY OF THE PICTURES? MY QUESTION IS WHO GOES IN AND DOES THAT, DO WE HAVE AN INSPECTOR THAT WILL GO IN AND TAKE THE PICTURES AND PRESENT THEM TO YOU? I GO IN, I GO IN MY, UH, WITH THE BUILDING INSPECTOR, WHAT THAT CHIEF BUILDING INSPECTOR, WE'RE JUST BRUCE AT A TON OF BUTTON TO TAKE THE PITCHES AND HE WRITES THE REPORTS, OR HE WRITES WHAT HE SEES NEEDS TO BE DONE, THAT THE NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAM CAN HANDLE.

AND THEN WE GO FROM THERE.

SO BILL, BOTH OF US GO OUT AT THE SAME TIME, I LET THE CONTRACTORS KNOW THIS IS WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE.

THIS IS WHAT THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON FOUND.

AND CAN YOU HELP US DO THESE REPAIRS? ANYONE ELSE? ALL RIGHT.

I'VE BEEN TALKING ON MUTE.

SORRY.

SO WE DON'T NEED TO GET A BOAT BEING THAT WE'RE

[00:15:01]

UNDER THE 15, CORRECT? CORRECT.

WE CAN MOVE ON.

OKAY.

ALL RIGHT.

THANK YOU.

UH, NEXT THING ON THE AGENDA IS, UH, ONGOING HOME REPAIR PROJECTS, UH, DISCUSSION.

AND I'M GOING TO PASS THAT OVER TO OUR CHAIRMAN.

OKAY.

UH, ABOUT TWO AND A HALF YEARS AGO, WE INTRODUCED, UM, A PROJECT THAT WE WERE PARTNERING WITH SOME OTHER, UM, AGENCIES, UH, UM, BUSINESS WITH, UM, A HOME REPAIR AND, UH, AT HOME IS, UM, KIND OF FELT THAT THE PROJECT TOOK A DIVE BECAUSE OF COVID BECAUSE OF THE, SOME OF THE OTHER AGENCY THAT WAS INVOLVED.

UM, BUT HOWEVER, IT'S, IT'S ALIVE.

AND BACK ON THE AGENDA, WE'VE ALSO PARTNERED WITH PEOPLE LIKE SERVPRO, WHO CAME IN AND DID A MOLE MEDIATION IN THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON.

WE REPLACED THE ROOF AND, AND THEN, UM, UH, REPAIR THE ROOF BECAUSE THAT'S THE ONLY WAY TO SERVE PRO WOULD DO THEIR MORE MEDIATION, UM, BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT THE SAME THING TO HAPPEN AGAIN, BECAUSE THE HOME WASN'T SEALED PROPERLY, UM, SERVPRO, UM, WAS DONATED THE TIME AND, UH, UM, EQUIPMENT AND, AND LABORS, IF YOU WILL, UM, TO THE FAMILY AND TO THE TOWN, UM, NOT LOW COUNTRY COUNCIL COUNCIL, THE GOVERNMENT IS ALSO INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT AND, UH, GOING TO PUT UP, UM, $40,000.

UM, EOC IS ALSO INVOLVED IN THE PROJECT.

WE'RE GOING TO PUT UP $17,000.

WE GOT AN ESTIMATE FROM TWO AND A HALF YEARS AGO FROM A CONTRACTOR TO RE TO DO THIS REPAIR FOR $62,000.

HOWEVER, WE HAVE NOT GOTTEN A FINAL BID YET, BUT HE'S WORKING ON THE FINAL BID BECAUSE EVERYTHING INCLUDING MATERIALS HAS CHANGED SINCE TWO AND A HALF YEARS AGO.

UM, BUT NOW WE HAVE ANOTHER PARTNER WHICH IS GRATEFUL, WHO HAS AGREED TO, UH, DONATE MOST OF, NOT ALL OF THE MATERIALS.

UM, SO THE TOWNS, UM, CAN ALSO CONTRIBUTE TO THIS PROJECT AGAIN, BECAUSE IT FALLS UNDER ANOTHER FISCAL YEAR FROM WHEN WE FIRST HELPED THEM.

SO WE BELIEVE THIS IS A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT.

THAT IS GOING TO BE A WIN-WIN BECAUSE WE GOT SO MANY, UH, OTHER, UM, PLAYERS AT THE TABLE THAT WANT TO HELP THIS FAMILY GET BACK INTO THIS HOUSE.

THAT'S UNINHABITABLE.

AT THIS TIME, WE, UM, DID THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING, UM, UH, NEIGHBORHOOD ASSISTANT PROGRAM IS GOING TO TAKE THE LEAD, UM, TO, TO HAVE THOSE, UM, HOME, UM, UH, REPAIRS MADE.

AND THAT'S THAT THE REQUESTS OF, OF A LOW COUNTRY COUNSELOR GOVERNMENT, BECAUSE, UM, THEY WANT, I GUESS THEY SEE THAT WE WERE ABLE TO COLLABORATE ALSO WITH OTHER AGENCIES TO BE A PART OF THIS PROJECT THAT MAKES SURE YOU DO COME TO FRUITION.

UM, IT'S, UH, IT'S, UH, IT'S DEFINITELY, UH, UH, A FEW GOOD SITUATIONS TO HELP THIS FAMILY AND THE TOWN, UH, TAKING THE LEAD IS, UM, IS ESSENTIAL AT THIS POINT TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE CONTRIBUTORS, UM, UH, IN THIS, IN THIS COLLABORATIVE EFFORT, GET RECOGNIZED AS WELL AS THEY CAN, WHEN WE NEED THEM IN THE FUTURE.

THEY WILL KNOW THAT THEY CAN COUNT ON US TO MAKE SURE THINGS STAY IN PLACE.

SO IS THERE ANY QUESTIONS AT THIS POINT? UM, THIS IS ALSO GOING TO COUNCIL.

UM, MOST OF THE COUNCIL ALREADY KNOW ABOUT IT, BUT THIS IS ALSO GOING TO COUNCIL FOR AN OFFICIAL, UM, OFFICIAL, UM, BLESSING.

ANY QUESTIONS? THERE'S NO QUESTION THAT THIS TIME MAY, I MAY HAVE TO CALL YOU.

[00:20:04]

OKAY.

THAT THAT'S, THAT'S, THAT'S A POSITIVE.

OKAY.

ALL RIGHT.

OKAY.

ALL RIGHT.

OKAY.

ANY OTHER CONCERNS OR QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PROJECT? I I'M JUST CURIOUS.

WHERE'S THE FAMILY BEEN SINCE THE HOUSE IS INHABITABLE OR IS THE THEY BEEN LIVING WITH OTHER FAMILY MEMBER, OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS.

OH, OKAY.

I THOUGHT MAYBE THE TOWN OF BLUFFTON WAS DOING SOMETHING TO HELP SUPPORT THEM.

NO, NO, JUST CURIOSITY.

OKAY.

ANY OTHER QUESTIONS? OKAY.

THIS, THIS IS, UH, THIS IS, UH, WOULD BE A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT FOR OUR COMMITTEE.

UM, SO THAT THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF, UM, A LOT OF WORK AND, AND, AND I LIKE TO GIVE A LOT OF CREDIT ALSO TO, UM, TO VICKI, UM, CAUSE SHE STAYED ON THIS, UM, AND PUT A LOT OF, EVEN IN HER PERSONAL TIME.

UM, SHE, SHE, SHE DEDICATED HERSELF TO, TO WORK WITH THE FAMILY IN MANY, IN MANY WAYS.

SO THANK YOU, VICKI.

AND, AND, UM, I APPRECIATE ALL YOUR EFFORTS.

THAT'S WHAT I SIGNED UP FOR.

SO NO PROBLEM.

JUST GLAD THAT WE CAN GET THEM GOING AND GET THIS PROJECT BACK ON TRACK WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE AND HAVE A SMILE.

LAUGHTER PUT A RIBBON ON AND THEN LET THEM CUT IT IN HALF.

YEAH.

AND THAT'S, THAT'S A, THAT'S A GREAT POINT WHEN THIS IS FINISHED.

I WILL, I REALLY THINK THE WHOLE AFFORDABLE HOUSING STAFF SHOULD GO OUT AND DO A COMMITTEE THAT IS IN DO A RIBBON CUTTING BECAUSE, UM, THIS WA THIS WAS STEPHANIE, UH, SHOW HOW, UM, HOW WE VALUE OUR COMMUNITY AND, AND, AND PEOPLE THAT WE SERVE.

YEAH.

UM, MR. CHAIRMAN, HOW, UM, I MUST, I MIGHT'VE MISSED IT.

WHEN DO WE EXPECT IT TO BE DONE SO THAT THE FAMILY CAN MOVE BACK IN? UM, WE, WE HAVE A WINDOW BASED ON SOME ABOUT SOME, UH, FINANCIAL REPORTING, SUCH AS EOC AND IN ELKHART, THEY, THEY HAVE, UM, FUNDS THAT HAS TO BE USED IN A CERTAIN PERIOD OF TIME.

SO, UM, RIGHT NOW THE WINDOW IS ABOUT 30, 30 TO 35 DAYS.

IS THAT RIGHT? VICKY? RIGHT.

SO, SO, SO SOON AND VERY SOON I, I GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH GRAY CALLED THIS MORNING AND THEY SAID WHENEVER WE WERE READY TO DELIVER THE, THE MATERIALS TO THE, TO THE, UH, TO THE SITE.

SO WE, WE, WE, WE ON A GOOD STOCK.

WONDERFUL.

THANK YOU.

YES, THAT'S ALL I HAVE.

THAT'S ALL THAT WE HAVE.

EXCUSE ME.

THAT'S ALL WE HAVE FOR THIS MEETING, UM, THIS MONTH'S MEETING, SO THANK YOU ALL FOR JOINING IN.

THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING A PART AND SEE YOU IN OCTOBER.

HOPEFULLY BEFORE I HAD TO REMAKE, HONEY, THEY'LL KEEP ME POSTED.

WE'LL KEEP YOU POSTED.

UM, AND ANYTIME AGAIN, ANYTIME ANY OF THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, UH, VICKY, KEVIN, OR MYSELF, WE'LL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER THOSE.

OKAY.

KELBY CANNOT SPEAK FOR YOU.

I ALREADY DID.

YES, SIR.

ABSOLUTELY.

RIGHT.

OKAY.

THANK YOU GUYS.

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.

ALL RIGHT.

GREAT.

THANK YOU.
